Ideas of water fountains for home garden

There are many types of water fountains that you can use in your home garden. You can buy a small, desktop fountain that sits on a table or a larger, more elaborate fountain that is placed in the garden. There are even fountains that are designed to be used indoors or outdoors. Some fountains are designed to only be used as a decoration while others actually provide water for fish or other aquatic animals.

This type of fountain is usually made from metal that has been shaped into an ornamental design. It is hung on the wall with brackets and uses a low flowing stream of water to keep it cool in hot weather.

Desktop Garden Fountain

Desktop fountains are small, compact units that sit on top of the table or floor stand, which keeps them stable and sturdy. A quiet pump sends water through small holes in the unit where it falls back into the bowl below with a soothing trickling sound similar to rainfall.

Floor Fountain

Floor fountains are are made of metal or ceramic and mount on the floor, often with a weighted base to keep them steady. The water usually flows from one basin to another at different heights before returning back into the lower bowl for recirculation. These types of fountains are also much easier to clean than wall-mounted or tabletop varieties because you can easily move it around and take it apart if needed.

Wall Water Fountain

Wall-mounted fountains come in all shapes and sizes, but most have their water pump built right into them so they don’t need to be connected to an electrical outlet or use any electricity themselves during operation. This means that you could install this type of fountain anywhere you can drill a hole into a wall to hang it from, such as on an outside wall or even inside near a window.

Indoor Metal Water Fountain

Water fountains for indoors are usually made of metal and don’t need any plumbing because they recirculate the same water over and over again using only gravity. They also come in many shapes and sizes depending on what kind of decor you want to surround them with. These types of fountains use either candles or electric lights to light up the water at night, but many people prefer natural lighting during the day so that they can see all of the beautiful colors inside the bowl.

Cascading Wall Ponds

These walls go in the corner of your garden and use water to cascade down from one tier to another. They are usually made out of clay or natural stone, which is better for the environment than using artificial materials like plastic that will never decompose. If you want to put this type of fountain in your garden, it’s best to surround it with several types of plants so that they can flourish around it as well.

Garden Waterfall Fountain

Waterfalls take up a lot of space, but if you have a large enough open area in your yard then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t consider having one built into your outdoor garden landscape design. These fountains often look quite natural and come in many shapes and sizes so there’s something that can fit into almost any garden.

Bench Top Water Fountain

A benchtop fountain is a small, tabletop version of an outdoor waterfall that can be placed anywhere where you have a few inches of flat space to put it on. These fountains usually use candles or electric lights so that you can see all of the intricate shapes and colors inside the bowl at night, but they do need to be plugged in to keep the water flowing so you’ll need to find a safe spot for your electrical plug near it.

Glass Bowl Fountains

Glass bowls are usually made from either ceramic or metal and sit on a wide, sturdy base made from either stone or wood. The water flows up from one bowl into another and then back down into the base where it’s recirculated and sent back through the pump again. These types of fountains are easy to clean and look very elegant in any garden.

Pondless Waterfall

A pondless waterfall is a great choice if you want to add a water feature to your yard but don’t have enough space for a large pool or even just one that doesn’t take up too much space. The water from these fountains usually ends up draining out of the source hole and disappearing underneath the ground so it doesn’t run all over your lawn or patio, keeping things nice and neat and leaving you with more open space than usual beside the fountain itself.

When choosing a fountain for your garden, consider the size of your space and how much noise the fountain will make. Fountains come in a variety of materials, including stone, metal, and glass. Choose the material that best suits your taste and the style of your garden.
